Yesterday was probably one of the most heartbreaking days I’ve experienced in my life. I have never felt such pain and disappointment in my short 20 years of life. But you see what’s beautiful?
I’m still alive, I’m here. It didn’t kill me.
I know that doesn’t sound very encouraging but what can man do to me? What can anyone do to me without permission from God? What I am going through – God has permitted. He is able to click His fingers and change everything right now to work in my favour – but He hasn’t.
The reason why this is so encouraging is because I have held these following truths in my heart, and I hope you will too – they have helped me tremendously to remain thankful even when I think it’s well within my emotional rights to walk away and harden my heart towards God.
Arm yourself with these two simple truths:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.” Romans 8:28
Believe, believe, and keep believing that God surely holds a purpose for your pain.
Lots of love,
P.S. could you please pray for me? Thank you so much.
